Farid Saleem Kamboh examines, through his installations, real value of an artwork in comparison to its price. He believes in art that actually worth an equal value in terms of money. His work revolves around research; what makes money valuable beside a faith to believe in its value? How international economy and prevailing financial crises could be demonstrated in terms of its exact physical state!
Further, money being one of most important concept keeps an important place in our lives often driving most significant decisions one make from daily routine to major steps of life. An interaction with different forms of money is experienced by every person. Farid KAMBOH studies how people and society behave and use currency bills (money) other than its basic function of purchasing and symbol of power.
